Position: Business Development Associate

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the growth of Egan-Jones Proxy Services by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting our suite of proxy advisory services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through research and outreach efforts.
  • Cold Client Engagement: Build relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, research, and client services teams to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the financial services or corporate governance industry.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge: Understanding of proxy advisory services, corporate governance, and the financial services industry is a plus.
